Alright, I know, it's been awhile...again. But I've been busy...going on first dates!! Lots and lots of first dates. Question for all you non-single people, how do you get a second date?? Sometimes I think it's me, and then I decide that it's a better possibility that it is the men that I am going out with. Because really...who doesn't love me?

So these first dates, you may be asking yourself, 'how is Elizabeth finding all these men to go on first dates with?' Well, that is a very good question. I was going to say that it is a long story, but really it's not. I was talking with my lovely mother and what else would I be talking about other than boys? Anyways, I may have mentioned that I was out of places to look for a decent man. Mom then told me that the new place to meet men is on the internet. I took that as a suggestion and put a profile on plentyoffish.com. Well, lets just say that I was a hit. the boys love me! Unfortunately, the trouble with internet dating is that not all of the men are winners. My first date was with this military paramedic. He was sooooo cute. we actually went out on a second date and I was so excited. Really nice guy. Unfortunately bad timing, his Grandfather had a heart attack and apparently he doesn't handle stressful situations well. Better to learn that early I suppose rather than me getting in over my head.

Then I went out with ANOTHER military man. Didn't know it at the time though. I actually went to high school with this one. Nice guy, told me he thought that we should just be friends...ouch. The third one is my fav. though. Decided that I shouldn't be too much of a snob, so I went out with a guy from transcona who has a child. I think that he was looking for a mommy for his son. Totally creepy. My favourite part, he has been on worker's comp for the past 5 years because he cut off his fingers at work. Of course, this is the man that falls in love with me. Good thing I never gave him my number and that I can block him on the internet.

Anyways, i currently have 3 more men in the works. Prehaps this second set of three might be a little more promising...

Today is Sunday...got up this morning and went to church with mom and dad. I love church cause I get to sing and noone is allowed to complain that I am singing poorly because it's church and I'm just praising the Lord!! After church, Tiffany and I borrowed the car from mom and dad and went and got new fishies!!! 2 pink ones, 2 black ones and 2 orange ones. We named them betty, veronica, jarvis, fat janet, tonto and Rico. They seem quite happy so far. Hopefully they have a longer life span than the last 9 that I killed. opps.
